Puppet show! Puppet show! Bread & Puppet Theater is excited to announce that we will kick off our 63rd year by traversing the Northeast and Eastern Seaboard with The End of the World Never Minding Show! 

Join Bread & Puppet Theater for an urgently-needed new puppet show featuring our upside-down situation, a revolt orchestra, screaming choirs, and a reckoning with the catastrophe of logic. Of The End of the World Never Minding Show, director Peter Schumann tells us that, “The sitting mind realises the predicament of the rats, assigned to spread the plague which opens the gates of darkness as fears chase the populations across the face of the earth. Humanity’s humdrum is now outrageous and no longer composed of beloved details. The rats in charge of spreading the plague are ordered to repurpose human freedom and democracy into guns, bombs, and starvation. Our own futuristic Not-Yet is impatient and unready. We must take our cardboard provocations into the revolting streets of life, with help from our paper-maché divinities, to succeed and succeed.”

After the show Bread & Puppet will serve its famous sourdough rye bread with aioli, and Bread & Puppet’s “Cheap Art” – books, posters, postcards, pamphlets and banners from the Bread & Puppet Press – will be for sale.

• There are no advanced tickets, RSVPs, or reserved seating. Sorry!
• Entry is first-come, first served. Judson permits us to admit the first 300 people in line.
• Doors will open at 6:30pm and will close once we reach capacity. Please do not ask us about saving seats for late-arriving friends. This will not be possible. Thank you for understanding!
• Suggested donation is $20 with no one turned away for lack of funds. Cash is quickest (you can just drop it into the hat on your way in) but we also accept Venmo, credit card, and Apple Pay.
