Fabric Pocket Altars

About the Event

In this art therapy workshop, participants will engage in the benefits of textile arts and craft to create a personalized fabric pocket altar. Participants will experience mindfulness through hand stitching and fabric craft. Pocket altars are a symbolic way of creating grounding and intention wherever you go. 

Together we will use images, beads, charms and other craft materials to construct an altar you can keep on your person. We'll provide you with basic materials needed to create your own unique pocket altar to take home. 

Feel free to bring any personal items you wish to add to your altar and additional materials can be purchased on site. No prior art experience necessary.
