A Forum Theatre performance by the actors of the Theatre of the Oppressed NYC Housing Works Troupe, the shows is an interactive event. We will invite our audience to a discussion of how community members navigate the pitfalls and surprises of benefits, and how people find accessible support from communities and institutions. The scenes will show New Yorkers dealing with tensions in their households over choices between protecting or risking their access to necessary health and housing benefits.
