Join Dances for a Variable Population in Harlem on September 24th for a special workshop open to seniors and families—a celebration of community through the body and movement! This Movement Speaks® workshop kicks off with a performance by legendary dancer Myna Majors and performers from the ARC XVI: A Philip Randolph Senior Center. Dances for a Variable Population (DVP) is a multi-generational dance company and educational organization dedicated to promoting strong, creative movement for older adults of all abilities. Through dance, we empower individuals to build creativity, improve physical and mental well-being, strengthen social connections, and enhance their overall quality of life.
