About the Event

Participants will find the joy of poetry, expression, movement, music, imagination, and storytelling in an intergenerational setting! We will explore Bharatanatyam, an Indian traditional dance form that combines emotion, melody, and rhythm. Participants will use observation and visualization to narrate stories; we will also co-create movements together.

All the techniques can be done seated on a chair, standing up, or even just with your hands! Sessions are beginner-friendly, and activities are adaptable to all abilities. Participants do not need to attend all sessions - they can join as they prefer.
