Music is My Favorite Hiding Place: A Benefit Concert

About the Event
A night of music, the spoken word, and magic begins at 7 pm on Friday September 25th at Long Island University's Kumble Theater in Brooklyn. All ticket-related fees are being covered so that 100% of proceeds go towards an endowment at The Carter Center in memory of Sabrina, 2005-2025. This endowed fund will support stipends for undergraduate interns at The Carter Center in the areas of Human Rights, Mental Health, and Inform Women, Transform Lives. All performers have donated their time and include performances by actor James McDaniel, LIU Roc Nation vocalist Brittany Robles, classical guitarist Damien Kelly, the musical group Casa Mantequilla, the magic of The Great Ragidy Supreme, and many more. And don't forget the Silent Auction that begins at 6 pm featuring pieces donated by The Russian Tea Room, Kendra Scott Walt Whitman Mall, giclée prints of original artwork by Carolyn Newberger, themed gift baskets, and many more. We look forward to an evening of music, magic, hope, and healing.
