New York Vocal Collective will put their a cappella spin on R&B hits from multiple decades, as well as a mix of jazz, pop, folk, and contemporary choral music.
Since our exuberant and heart-filled inaugural season โ which culminated in our hit winter concert, ๐๐๐๐๐๐พ๐ โ the New York Vocal Collective has established itself as NYCโs premier choral ensemble for pop, R&B, and jazz music. We havenโt stopped working, and now, we're thrilled to present our spring concert: ๐โ๐ป๐๐พ๐.
In this performance, we'll be putting our spin on R&B hits from multiple decades, as well as a mix of jazz, pop, folk, and contemporary choral music. We hope you'll join us and catch a vibe!
Our ensemble, now 51 voices strong, comes from all over New York City and beyond. We are a professional-level, multi-genre choir whose members have careers in music, theater, education, law, journalism, medicine, and more. We rehearse weekly and present two concerts per year, in addition to hosting community singing events and performing at schools, corporate events, and with other artists. Ben Bram (he/him) is a 2x Grammy and Emmy Award-winning vocal arranger, producer, engineer, and educator based in Brooklyn, NY. He is co-creator of renowned pop a cappella group Pentatonix, summer vocal program A Cappella Academy, R&B ensemble Citizen Queen, and childrenโs music brand Acapop! KIDS, and has had the privilege to work with artists such as the Backstreet Boys, Sabrina Carpenter, Jacob Collier, Tori Kelly, Trousdale, and The Kingโs Singers. Ben's work has also extended to film and TV, where he contributed to NBCโs The Sing-Off, Glee, and the Pitch Perfect films. His vocal arrangements can also be heard in commercials for major brands such as Super Bowl LVII, Honda, CoverGirl, and Lifetime. Driven by a deep passion for vocal and harmonic excellence, Ben continues to create emotion-driven, memorable arrangements and grows community through music.
