The NYU Dance Education Program presents the 2025 Distinguished Faculty Dance Concert. The show will feature original choreography by faculty members in multiple styles of dance, showcasing dancers from all backgrounds and abilities. Open to the public, appropriate for all ages.
At the intersection of dance, education, culture, and wellness, the Dance Education Program concerts support diverse voices in the creation and performance of dance.
Established in 1932 by legendary dance educator Martha Hill, Dance Education at NYU Steinhardt is one of the oldest in North America. Multiple master’s degree tracks provide high quality professional
development in the theory and practice of dance education for teachers, administrators, performing
artists, and research scholars. The dance education program is a passionate, inclusive community and
prioritizes dance for all. The Concerts provide opportunities for members of the University community to
explore dance and performance and explore emotion in motion.
