About this Event

The Carnegie Hall UNGA Well-Being Concert will feature an uplifting and intimate performance led by Grammy-nominated and NAACP Image Award–winning jazz, soul, and pop vocalist Somi. The event is presented by Carnegie Hall as part of UNGA Healing Arts Week by the Jameel Arts & Health Lab in collaboration with the World Health Organization. 

Following the concert, there will be a special reception recognizing the healing power of art in times of war, marking the 30th anniversary of the UN mandate on Children and Armed Conflict. The Reception will take place in Carnegie Hall’s Weill Terrace Room and iconic rooftop Weill Terrace (weather permitting), and is co-hosted by Community Jameel and War Child.
